Peace God––Popa Wu is memorialized

Hundreds of members of the Five Percenters, lovers of the Wu Tang Clan and hip-hop, packed Restoration Plaza to memorialize Popa Wu, a.k.a. Freedum Allah, 63, who died suddenly in his Brooklyn home last Monday, Dec.16.

As well as dozens of family members, and with Ralph McDaniels playing music in tribute, were people as diverse as; Cappadonna, Prof. James Small, Atiim Ferguson and Chief Bakim.

Gods and Earths paid tribute to the icon, who was remembered to the artists like Method Man, ODB, Gza, Rza and Ghostface Killer, and Raekwon the Chef. Praises, food, dance and thanks were given in memory.
