Haitians in Brooklyn protest new president

Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, at Grand Army Plaza, KOMOKODA and a group of Haitians and their friends protested what they called the “installation of U.S.-supported indicted money launderer Jovenel Moise as the next president of Haiti.”

They slammed his installation into office “as the result of a rigged election with less than 20 percent of registered voters participating and despite a Jan. 25, 2017, indictment for money laundering in Haiti.”
