The Wildlife Conservation Society’s Bronx Zoo hosted its Toy Giveaway for the children of veterans and active military members last Saturday.

The annual event took place at the Bronx Zoo’s Schiff Family Great Hall, where approximately 75 veterans of all branches and more than 200 children participated.

Guests were greeted by Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and their holiday helpers, who welcomed everyone with cookies, hot chocolate and toys. Participants at the event were also provided with free entrance to enjoy the Bronx Zoo for the remainder of the day.

This year, Roadway Moving Company supplied the toys for the event, which is now in its eighth year.
