Greetings! A wall-to-wall crowd gathered uptown for the Harlem Week 2016 “Summer in the City” salute to the late Vaughn Harper, brilliant captain of the Quiet Storm for decades over WBLS-FM. Eric Bene was outstanding, along with special touching words from Vaughn’s longtime partner and wife, Sandra and his lovely daughter, Dionnee. WBLS was in the mix with personalities Jeff Fox and Jeff Foxx Band, DJ Mitch, Shaila, Fred “Buggsy” Buggs, Dr. Bob Lee, Lenny Greene, current host of the Quite Storm, Debi Jackson and myself.
